The Organical Farm in the ranch of
EL MEMBRILLO - SMA

Stranded in the community of El Membrillo, the Via Organica ranch is located. A space where time runs slowly, in keeping with the village atmosphere. Distant mountains frame the center of inspiration, summed up in a sunflower..., in a tomato plant or in the parade of squawking red flycatchers.
My goal was to depict the main volumes and lines in fast sketch. Now, I used just few colors into the palete. Ultramarine and veridine green by Nevskaya Palitra and napoles yellow by Van Gogh.
Certainly the nopales did not have prickly pears in those moments, so, after staining from light to dark tones, trying to capture the roundness of some leaves, I modified the main motif as a dense but defined volume, adding the prickly pears in red, to give the impression of the type of cactus, using for it, a toothpick..
First layers in blue and green so smoth with big quantity of water. Then adding more layers incvreasing the pigment tone in two values. blue and dark green for the shadows. Applying some rounded leaves in this tone at distance.
The first and final interpretation. Comparing the reference photograph, perhaps in a later study, it is to emphasize those objects in the distance, for example the two trees, either intensifying the color or giving it more contrast to bring the gaze to that sector of the painting.
A final drain of the sky together with the same technique of the mountain.
